Program Description

Suse shows how, with the help of an experienced editor, an un-developed idea is shaped into a publishable picture book. Two of her books, Look Whooo’s Counting and Here a Chick, Where a Chick? are examples of such productive collaboration. Suse describes the emergence of each book's theme and demonstrates her collage techniques, which were playfully embellished through computer graphics. Her audience will also go home with practical ideas for library story time.
